in general, my business appointment was over in berlin, but I wanted to eat something before the return started. I had already informed myself about the restaurants near in advance, and so I guided this restaurant in the roedernallee. I found a parking space right on the street, not too far from the restaurant, but when I got closer, I realized that there was also a private parking space on the farm. I was greeted by a not quite young waiter friendly as it turned out later, it was probably one of the owners. to my question after a table for a person he left me the free choice in the restaurant, which is about a third. I took a table at the window, and only a short time later the waiter came to the table and gave me the menu. He was always on the go during my entire stay in the restaurant, always friendly and courteous and always changed some beautiful cakes with obvious masters. the younger man, who mainly served the tress services, but occasionally also drinks, seemed somewhat insecure in the service and also did not show the sovereign friendliness than his older colleague. the menu presents the usual offer of an Italian restaurant: essentially here pizza and pasta with approx. 15 positions to travel between approx. 6, and 10, euro. nine meat dishes with pork (10,50 – 13,70 € , seven with bark (15,50 – 18,90 € and eleven fish dishes (12,00 – 23,70 € and some salads to moderate trips). There was a flyer with lunch table offers, various pasta dishes up to about 5,00 €, a meat dish up to 7,50 €. I ordered from the lunch table: “Petti di pollo, poulardenbrust with green pfeffer in cream sauce” (7.50 € and a still water (0.25l for 1.60 €). while I was looking for the toilet, the drink was served, and a bowl with inlaid green and black olives and a bowl with four slices of fresh white bread. shortly after, the older waiter brought another teller with a small mixed salad. he had a very big pfeffer mill in the other hand and asked me if it could be a bit pfeffer to salate. on my consenting nodding he put a small pfeffer over the salat and disappeared. I hadn't eaten the salate when he was already served. on the big teller I found the poulardenbrust on a mirror of the cream sauce with green pfeffer in it, with a few red rosenka and a few slices of roasted kartoffels. the meat was tender and perfectly cooked, the cream sauce was excellent and with a slightly pfeifige taste. the rosenka fell a little, he was clear too long and had no bite. the roasted potato in turn were well roasted, with at least small roasting points on each disc, well spiced and tastefully perfect. Overall, eating – apart from the slightly muddy rose cabbage was very good and the price was considered very favorable. the conceptual “solide” falls to me in the interior of the dining room. reddish brown floor tiles, furniture made of dark, lacquered wood, the chair legs and back rests not smooth but easy to play. the tables covered with white fabric tablecloths and yellow coverings, on them an already burning tee light in the glass, salt and pfeffer shaker. the places were covered with cutlery and paper serviettes. summing up, so no cheap pizzeria, but a beautiful, solid Italian restaurant where they can feel comfortable. the toilets in the cellar were no longer up-to-date, but functional and technical. cleanliness of the dining room seemed well maintained, I could observe several times how tables were cleaned after the departure of the guests and covered with fresh cover. also glasses, glasses and cutlery were perfectly clean. the toilet was well maintained and also perfectly clean.

I also know this restaurant from my childhood. A very tasty old-fashioned Italian with fair prices. Old fashion says: There are the classics and excellent meat dishes (e.g. recommended pork medals), but less modern dishes. There are also Italians with whom one tastes even finer (Luardi Meineckestraße, El Capitano in the Märkischen Quarter), but the offered is very good! You can do it more often.

Authentic Italian cuisine at a very good price ratio. The restaurant lives on regular guests, which speaks for consistent quality. Pizza, pasta, salad or fish all recommended. Update October 2017 If you have to do without gluten-containing pasta or want to get gluten-free noodles offered in the Cavalino.

The Ambiete offers on the terrace a charm that you cannot describe, in the interior stopped and the way to the sanitary facilities is a staircase deeper. Service friendly...for food by well removed. Salad as appetizer or pizza Tonno Salami etc. with fresh ingredients! The food has everything out!
