Lovely restaurant in the village of Alp. Beautiful interior and great service. The food was really delicious and many dishes used local produce and there was a choice of regional dishes.My partner had the soup which could have fed 2 or more and was delicious. I had a cheese and tomato starter which was great. The steak was very good make sure they are clear how you want it cooked and the cod in garlic and tomato sauce was divine the cod was a fantastic piece thick and beautifully cooked. The wine was the best bottle we had on that particular holiday. Definitely recommend and a mile away from the awful tourist food to be fond in the larger towns.
My adult sons and I had a really great meal here in Alps although it is about 15 minutes from the actual ski resort, so you would need a car. I cannot comment on what the restaurant would be like with small children. The restaurant is situated in the old area of the village in a stone house and has lots of charm. The chef came to take our order and to explain various dishes to us. The food was varied and everyone said how delicious it was. We found it to be good value for money. The restaurant opens at 20:30. Would definitely go there again, it is worth the drive.
A golfing group of 30 people booked an evening meal after our game at Royal Cerdanya Golf Club . They opened specially for us and for 30 euros a head we had Pica Pica (6 different shared plates) to begin followed by a choice of 3 main courses and then a superb Crema Catalan with chocolate . One of the best meals I have had for years. Obviously local wine and coffee included. We will certainly be returning when we have our next golfing competion.
Restaurante Casa Patxi se localiza en el pueblo de Fontanals de Cerdanya Girona. Cabe destacar su carta ya que es un buen muestrario de la gastronomía de la región, y de los sabores tipicos y autoctonos de esa zona. El resto se encuentra en funcionamiento en un aantigua casona rustica decorada en piedra y madera, que ha sido remodelada y adaptada a las necesidades de un restaurante.
