What damming reviews over the last few weeks! I only wish they’d been there when I booked ages ago for a meal before a concert at The Hammersmith Apollo! We dined there last night … the Pinot Grigio blush wasn’t available fair enough but an Italian restaurant where half the menu is dedicated to Pizza and then to be told (after we’d made our choices) that there weren’t any Pizzas due to a problem with the oven, well we should have realised then that it wasn’t going to get any better! The starters were over priced, garlic bread was barely warm although the calamari was ok. Before we’d finished our starters the waitress asked if we were ready for our mains

The Meatball’s specialty was more like watery grease balls. The pasta was undercooked. The cheesy garlic bread was in fact Nan bread! The walk down the stairs past the chef that was using a tea towel to wipe sweat from his head then used the same towel to move a pan of food from the hob. The ladies toilets were disgusting with overflowing bins and just pure filth don’t think it’s ever seen a bottle of bleach.

Small portions, inflated prices, a theme of crumbling Britain right now. Food was nice but wanted more, as the portion is more decorative than filling. There’s also an economy of glass washing. I’ve never seen a second glass of wine ordered to have the measure sloshed right in front of me, as a refill. Classy? Over priced.

No pizzas in an Italian restaurant ?? ! The food is strange garlic bread with mozzarella was like a naan bread. Other starter was out of stock ! Mains were inedible, service was incredibly slow. The smell of old used cooking oil can be tasted in everything and smelt throughout. AVOID
