I had the opportunity to try Carter and Rye at the Aksarben farmer's market last weekend and my goodness, have I been missing out. All of their hand pies looked delicious; the apple one I tried was fall encapsulated in a hand pie and was a delicious treat. I definitely plan to start stopping by their storefront more often to try more flavors.
We haven't tried any of these hand pies before but have walked by the Carter Rye booth at the farmer's market all summer. Finally I bought a pulled pork one for my husband this morning. He RAVED about it great flavor, good ratio of filling to pastry, perfectly cooked, and served piping hot. Great work!!
Wow wow. It's been a minute since I have had the pleasure of eating their treats but man the strawberry cheesecake today was lights out delicious!The ladies were helpful, personable and fun. Will be back asap!
Bought some of the breakfast hand pies at the winter farmers market. Following the instructions to heat up in an air fryer at home, they came out delicious!
