Review: (it should be approx. December 2022 was his For a date with my current girlfriend I visited this cafe on a Sunday. We were kindly received and were allowed to pick up a table. The service, a young man, who probably completed a distance study, quickly came to our table and could explain what cakes and cakes he had on offer. So we decided quickly for two pieces of fried beer-Baiser cake as well as an espresso and a peppermint tea. After not even five minutes, both drinks and cakes arrived at the same time. My double espresso on a silver tray with a small glass of tap water, as I would expect in the ambience of the café. Cake and beverages tasted wonderful, price-performance ratio with if I remember right about the 16€ for both together more than fair, we both went home happy. Now for today's visit: This time I was visiting the Webercafé with a small group, but even after 10 minutes there was no service at the table, although at least three were present at any time. So we asked ourselves the question whether we were the problem and we would have to order at the counter. Well, so I went to the cake to look at two of the vaults, then we seemed to have noticed, because we were almost followed by the table to ask for the order (with the words your order please. Of this we were somewhat overwhelmed, because half of the table did not even know what it was for cake, there was no explanation of the service power here compared to the first visit. So we first ordered drinks, from which two came after 5, the other two more 3 minutes later. Too bad, because we would like to have all warm drinks at the same time. When we wanted to order the respective cakes and cakes with the names explained to us at the vault, the service power was easily confused what cake we thought now, maybe you should be better off here to avoid misunderstandings. The cake itself was completely okay, but no highlight. The Maracujatorte would taste even better for me if you would play a little more with the combination of sweetness and acidity, as you know from Maracujaschorlen. The apple cake, however, was unfortunately the biggest disappointment, because it unfortunately consisted of 90% soil and only a little apple. Proposal: same price, half a lot of soil, more apple. So it was (though too dry). The fact that when paying the card reader did not want to accept a NFC card from me, I do not want to take it into the score, here I am partly self-debted when I leave the house without cash and without a haptic card. In summary, the next time a more attentive service and a more exciting selection of cakes and cakes would be desirable (by the way, we came again Sunday at 3 p.m.. My double espresso came this time without a tray and without water, a clear disappointment, if the price remains the same, however, is incident. Today unfortunately only 3/5 stars, but at the first visit it was smooth 5/5, I am sure that this level can be reached again.
From Carl Maria von Weber Café we have for our wedding on 12. May the wedding cake. The discussions took place in the café, which is very cozy and has very friendly staff. To the cake: Optically a real eye-catcher and tastefully already quite right at the point, but also a real sattmaker. We would do that again at any time, thank you very much!
Stunning café with very nice staff and super delicious cakes! An absolute must when visiting Eutin. The baroque ambience is something very special and Weber's birthplace is already a small museum. Very great recommendation!
