Calypso Cafe East

I was a little tired to try. It is a Caribbean theme restaurant, but I saw no minorities working or in the kitchen. I had the rotisserie chicken and the black bean salad. It was decent. I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it either. If you are looking for a genuine, authentic Caribbean taste, this would probably not be the place for you. If you want some fresh, decent chicken and sides, then I would recommend there is an attempt. Customer service is good, there are many seating inside and outside, there are free parking and they are pretty fast. I went on a Saturday and my order was almost as fast as I placed it.

I ate here once, Saturday afternoon. The inside of the restaurant is spacious and open. There is a lot of flexibility to assemble tables for larger groups. I ordered the Lucayana? Salat and I loved it! Sliced almonds, small oranges and really delicate chicken breast over salad make a delicious combination. Casual dress fits well.

Food and service was top notch! I enjoyed the lit chicken salad with sweet potatoes and a side salad. The homemade Vinaiigrette was some of the best I ever had. Has a wide choice for vegetarian/vegan food as well. Don't skip this place!

Good food, but the chicken was overrated. The pages were fantastic. It is a beautiful distraction from the Nashville Hot Chicken scene. I noticed that the prices are also rising a bit.... Guess we're all paying for higher fuel prices.

I have the Cuban beans with 3 pages. Vegan options are clearly marked! Delicious big part for cheap! Loved the cold beans and maissalat!
