Great pizza spot with a very neighborly owner. The pizza itself is better than average by NYC standards, although not the best pizza I've ever had. Still very good though: the crust hits that crisp-chew combo just right, and the sauce is spot on. I've only been once, but it seems Sal is probably always ready to tell you his stories. Some other reviewer was mad that they couldn't get some garlic knots at 10:30 pm (after closing time), or some bullsh like that. It does not surprise me at all that they were told to f off. This is a proper Jersey establishment. Forget about it. Just go during actual working hours and you'll be treated right.
At the first visit of this place, by chance, my new favorite place. Crystal and Julio were so friendly .. made the experience warm and welcoming. I can't thank them enough. Slice of cheese pizza was so delicious. Didn't have a piece of pizza that made me want more in time.
It took an hour to deliver 1 pizza. update the answer to the owner. I'm sorry my assessment was hard. I have updated my stars because others as order get late, your food is delicious. I appreciate your answer.
The first time here today and in any case again the pizza is fresh and the crispy chicken salad is amazing that came through recommendation from another customer.
