Tonight we had a great surprise at Cal Gall restaurant. We had come early and were greeted by the chef and his mother who is also the maître d'hôtel. The food is very fresh! They had brought to show us the fish and the meat cutlet of a calf who was raised on herbal food only marinated and let to age 60 days. It looked great!!!!! The menu is written also in English and French. We had been offered cava glasses and amuse gueule . It was original and very tasty! The chef brought to show us the last truffles picked up this year in a jar- it smelled soooooo goooood!!!! Then he showed us ceps mushrooms which where so fresh with another rare mushroom which I do not recall the name. All ordered plates were very tasty fresh and colorful accompanied with truffles . The chef also offered some fried liver with anguille and truffles. Plates were nicely decorated , colorful , and tasty. Wine was extra good too. All deserts were excellant. We are going back tomorrow since we liked it so much! Apparently the chef worked at a 1 star guide Michelin ! And had recently open this restaurant. The place is beautifully designed. It is worth while the detour!!!!

Adrian's passion for cooking, for the product, that he selects and handles impecably, and for wine make the visit to his place an almost perfect experience. His proposal is brave and solid. We've eaten at other places in this village and this is quite different. Local ingredients but with a much more creative twist. We had beautifully prepared and presented starters main courses and puddings, each one an artwork and absolutely delicious. Lovely dining room, charming and attentive hosts. Oh and very good value for the amazing quality! Do try it!
An excellent young chef Michelin star quality food at great value prices. Not to be missed!! Friendly service too
