visit date: 19.12.17 watch period: 6.30 watch review: I would recommend to book and try to get the car seat if they can, as this is a themed 1940 subway station and it looks great from the stairs to the coat room (which is called the ticket hall) and then to the bar. it is always busy with waiting for walks, but the staff are friendly and ready to start. do not expect a large menu, as there is only a handful of dishes. there is however a very large alcoholic beverage menu with special drinks written on a 1940s style time and all created so clever for this time, but they also have a small selection of mock-tails and bar staff are well versed to make everything they want as they are real mixologists. location: 13 kingly court, carnaby street, soho, w1b 5pw parking space: there is an NCP parking space in soho, but this will be a small walk away, and this is in the Kingley court to the side directly opposite the rear entrance of cinnamon soho. decor lighting: perfectly fed and well made with boring but sufficient lighting. ambience acoustics: authentic background music. with all employees also wear themed clothes so that it really complements the ambiente. db level: I'm sorry I forgot to take a reading, but I didn't have to scream and could talk without hearing too much of a problem. we had the following: drinks: large selection on offer with a few mock-tails as well as bar staff in the position to mix everything they desire, I had them make their own soft drinks for me. the drinks are also prepared for various wise and glasses, so it is a real experience. Eat: fish finger sandwiches, pork and sage sausage rolling. not big dishes, but fill and tasted good. I prefer the sausage rolls that were really fleshy and super-tasted. bill cost: £30 per head for two teller and 2 drinks conclusion: a great place for an office party or meeting one than its other, but well made and not sticky. with such friendly staff and good service this is really my opinion to go better than into a bar where the music is too loud and where you are not served without attention, then loaded over the chances. or maybe I'm just old. I would suggest that they get a bigger menu. Rating: 8.0 of 10.0

I love a good themed bar, and had been dying to go and check out Cahoots, an old WWII air raid bunker turned 40s style cocktail bar. I think everyone else in London loves it too, asyou have to book a couple of weeks in advance to get in. But finally I managed to secure a table. The whole experience is all very secretive, starting from trying to find the actual entrance to the bar. It’s hidden within Kingly Court in an alley behind the Sweaty Betty shop. You can spot it by trying to locate the ‘To the Trains’ sign.

Cahoots I must say was the very definition of a theme bar done right. With cocktails to live up to the décor. We had already been drinking fairly heavily throughout the evening so were a bit squiffy when we finally rocked up to Cahoots at 11 and hoped there would be space for us. They were able to accommodate us at our favourite space – the bar, where we made ourselves comfortable and woofed down two tins of the complimentary popcorn (no dinner had been had that evening).

I must admit to liking a gimic so when I heard about Cahoots, a tube themed bar, in Kingly Court Soho, I was keen to visit. Look out for the signs “to the trains” when you are in Kingly Court and you will be greeted by a Cahoots “scoundrel” to check your name and talk to you as if you were in the 1940s. As you go down the stairs you pass the ticket office and then on into the tube....
