The service is sketchy. Management 's reaction to sketchy service is even sketchier.Cafe Sano is a nice little restaurant. Chances are that everyone in this area has eaten there and enjoyed it...But when it comes to Cafe Sano take-out, well, if they got an order right, or on time, I 'd rush outside and check the sky for second suns. It 's not enough that something from the order is ALWAYS missing or cooked incorrectly, or just plain not what you ordered, the reaction from management when you point this out is a cute little Oopsie! Our bad! attitude. I don 't know which is more annoying. Tonight is the last straw. Ordered online at 8:05 PM. A small pizza and some hummus. I received a confirmation email that dinner would be ready at 8:45 PM. Arrive at 8:48 to be told that the system had JUST sent them the order, they 'd have it ready in 15 minutes, I 'd have to wait. OOPSIE! There was no apology, no hey, we know this is an issue, hummus is on us or even a discount coupon for our next visit...Just crickets.Time to take advantage of the other options for Mediterranean food in the area. Hello, Doordash?
First and last time I'll ever come here again. Ordered the steak and cheese panini. I understand fresh food takes time to prepare but we waited 20 mins which is way too long. The steak sandwich has zero flavor at all! I had to ask for extra chipotle Mayo just to give it a taste. I would have been better off making steakums at home which would have tasted better. Btw 2 sandwiches and 2 ice teas for 35 dollars. Never again!!!
I dined in at Cafesano several times and it's always been good. For my birthday, a group of friends and I did take out. All the food was great but one of the main meals was missing entirely. We were able to share what the others got to make a meal for the friend and all was delicious. Just a heads up to always check your order!
Good food and selection. Caution: the day manager is very rude and loud. I placed a web order and he was yelling at me that my order for a panini wouldn't be ready for another 30-40 minutes. Customer service goes a long way with so many choices for lunch in the area.
