We had walked up through the woods and fields to St Cergue from Arzier and were looking for some lunch. My husband had the 'plate of the day' which was more than he really wanted, but he thoroughly enjoyed it. I had a bowl of the most delicious mushroom soup, a small green salad,,and some crusty bread. The restaurant was very pleasant. the chef friendly,,and our waitress, who spoke English, very helpful and personable. We will go back when are next in the area. .
In ski season, this place must be very busy. We visited in July. The service is good and the food tasty. Sitting right off the street makes for an interesting ambiance although most of the vehicles are city trucks. We were told it is the best place in town for vegetarian food. In short, the food was good but the ambiance wasn't that appealing.
Varied classic Swiss menu. Lots of options, nice family feel to place. Chef/owner comes out to meet/great customers at the end of the meal. Worth a visit.
which is generous portions of good quality but basic food...and a peculiar service...stays open late as well which is convenient!
