We arrived at this charming cafe at lunchtime on a Saturday. It was busy but the service was excellent, friendly and prompt. There is only one main course offered for lunch, but this changes daily. Today's 'Plat du jour' was filet mignon served with a baked dish of sliced potatoes and a fresh green salad accompanied by a thyme sauce. Everything was cooked to perfection. For desert my husband chose fresh rhubarb tart with cream which was home made and very good. I chose the orange meringue 'tart' served in a glass. This was something else. One of the nicest sweets I have tasted. The orange custard was absolutely wonderful. We finished off with a tea and a cappuccino, and two limoncellos offered by the female patron. The bill was a lovely surprise: 44 euros including a small pichet of rose wine. This venue is well worth a return visit.

We were at the Café Le France for a little stopover during the afternoon. We had a perfect little Café Gourmand and a Café with salade des fruits. Everything, even the Macaron and the Financier, was fresh and homemade by the very nice owner of the café! The service was excellent! It's a pity that she has to close the café at 18h to bake new macarons, Financiers and other "gourmandises".I guess the main dishes, that were written on the board, are as good as our sweet little afternoon-snack. The atmosphere and interieur was very comfortable.

A must if you're around Ollioules! It is open at noon and closed on Sundays. Every day is a different menu, cooked with local and fresh ingredients. The presentation is always great. The team is so welcoming and the atmosphere lets you come back. You can call before booking to know the dishes of the day in advance. They also offer good local wines. I really recommend it.
