"Date of visit: 3.– 6.6.2015 – midday afternoon 9 – 13 persons Ambience: The Café Ederblick in the Bakery Raabe is located directly on the waterfront of the Edersee and can be reached via the Bakery Raabe on the street side (but also from the waterfront. Some parking is right in front of the house, further on the opposite side – all free. Inside a slightly older coffee house with lots of wood, outside a large shaded terrace with quite modern furniture and a great view. Cleanliness: acceptable cleanliness, although the interior has come a bit in the years. Sanitation: here too some outdated equipment, but still to be called clean. However, the size of the toilets is not exactly sufficient for the existing public transport on impact days. Service: we had the luck pitching at times a full terrace at the café. Operation in bakery when ordering cakes was quick and friendly, the cake was brought to the terrace. The service power on the terrace (actually a nice and friendly person was definitely overwhelmed at peak times! Not that she hadn't done it, but picking up, serving and cassing orders on a full terrace is too much for a person. The fact that the lady sometimes replied somewhat irritated is at the expense of the owner, who would have to pursue a different personnel policy here! The map: is a standard menu for cafes some cold hot drinks, the usual ice cream card and as a hearty snack a brew sausage and a specialized flame cake. There are still 3 different pizzas on the map, but when ordering we were told that they hadn't been there for a long time! If it were all right, it would have been only TK – merchandise, ABER, then it also belongs on the map painted or overcrowded. The dishes: the flame cakes we ordered were delicious and freshly prepared – without a tadel. Worth mentioning the Dutch cherry cake which is excellent and gave rise to further visits. Since a very soft filling is bedded in 2 leaf dough halves, the cake is served with knife and fork! Only where light there also shadows, we had strong thirst after a hike at high temperatures and ordered 2 non-alcoholic wheat from the maize. The two filled glasses came to the table quite quickly. When we later reordered twice, the bottles were taken to the table. Big mistake: the first had exceeded the MHD by two months the second by three months! I personally have no problem with it, especially since the beer was still in order, but in a place that should be served at least like the first order in the glass, then the guest at least does not see it. Price performance ratio: the prices are moderate, the cakes and cakes are available from € 1.90, an ice cream coffee beats with € 4.40 to beech and a pot of coffee is for € 2.70 and ultimately are estimated for the wheat € 3.20. You're right by the lake! Conclusion: despite some deficiencies, I come here to a 3 – if it results. (1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it results again, 4 – happy again, 5 – absolutely again (after “Kuechenreise”)"
