Cafe Del Mar - Table reservation

Prices quite high (but ok as you would expect) but service is horrible. When seated in the terrace area you are asked to consume a minimum of 40 or 60 euros per person depending how close to the sea you sit. We were four (2 adults and 2 old teens) on a Saturday sunset. It took us 3,5 hours to consume this as the waiters are seriously not doing anything. Filled table with empty bottles and plates and no refill. We were stuck there. With a half full terraces. The DJ was terrible and a long way from the iconic cafe del mar brand. Not coming back (and have been there before on one of yearly trips to Ibiza).

Well we went and we were glad we did. It’s a great spot and we really enjoyed the evening. The sunset sells the restaurant for them so they don’t have to try too hard which shows. The prices are very steep for a very average meal and quick but disinterested service. Nothing wrong at all, the food was fine and came quickly, it’s just that the location allows them to seriously overcharge compared to quality you get. But then again it took us 40 years to finally get to Ibiza and we felt we had to go once, and we did enjoy it.

Total anticlimax!!! Sunset and views fantastic. Music only ok. Disappointed in choice of food which was basic and way overpriced as were the drinks. Staff totally rude and disinterested, obviously they don't have to try hard to attract the custom! We've always wanted to go but never again

Espectacular establecimiento en un entorno natural precioso....eso sí...bullicioso y lleno de marcha...estuvimos a las 20 horas y el ambiente era sorprendente. Visita obligada para cualquier amante de la música Chill Out.
