Don't know why we went here but we regretted it. Skipped starters so I had a rump steak, which wasn't very edible. Can't remember what my wife had but we both had the tiramiso for dessert. Stodgy sponge and not very good. Then the fun began. I have ordered coffee I don't know how many times in France and so asked for two espressos, in French. What happened was two cups arrived then another two. I was a bit puzzled by this and was told we had ordered two decaffs. My French is very passable and I told the guy in charge we had only ordered deux cafes. He then said so you want me to pay for these and I told him we would pay for what we had ordered. He scored the decaffs off the bill and went off in the huff. When do two people order four coffees after a meal? He then started on the poor waitress who he blamed for it.

We came for the weekly market (30 stalls, normal French village market) and stayed for lunch. This restaurant is the most prominent n town with about 20 table in the main quarter next to the fountain. Menu was mainly simple fare with a few anglicised additions (fish and chips and burger and chips). Unusually I went for a burger and chips - hardly a Provençal favourite! I had the Savoyard version (it uses Comte and Roblechon cheese on the burger. It came properly cooked (I asked for saignant (rare), and the fries were nicely fried. My wife had a tapenade salad - which had the normal parts to it. Only comment in both is that they were big. Both courses were served without fuss, and with a smile at my poor French.Fairly priced at 46 Euros inc 50cl of wine.A decent place for lunch

We six friends monopolized two outdoor tables on Bastille Day from which we watched the fabulous and charming "running of the bulls". We stayed for burgers and to listen to the excellent live music that followed. Perfect day, transformative burgers, and really flexible and attentive service.

The main meals that my family ordered were ok, not amazing. The dessert was not good (some type of strawberry shortcake) soggy cake, and obviously pre-made. Too expensive for the quality of the food.
