despite numerous trips and weekend trips, I have not yet tried to discover the entire gastronomic offer and there is still amazing to discover. the cafe big city (in a grey corner house where there was no place before or at best a bakery) should be forgiven for the ironic designation alone. because the food offer has set up a rather wide selection of which they would not combine for the first time with a caffe. and as a large city, they cannot really call the island on the lake, despite all the tourist flows that go through here daily. “Sometimes something else” promises the homepage – and is already very good with this particularity. the menu begins very sympathetic with “small things”. simply “just” olive, a small cheese selection or homemade potato chips with dip, I like very good. perfect for wine or beer. the rest of the map also convinces with unusual, creative arrangements, which are also very appealing visually. for example bagel de luxe, with fresh cheese, salmon, rode, tweepers and rocket (12,90 euro), lukewarm goat cheese in speck, with carpaccio of red beds, nuts, birne and pesto (13,90 euro) or sweets from the often with sweet and red curry sauce (1150 euro). Finally I choose a large city bowl (10,90 euro), although the entire current bowl trend makes me a little cherry. but at the current heat a good choice. on a deep bowl are beautifully designed: nierenbohnen, mais, kicherbsen, rotkohl, tomaten und gurken. in the middle of a small bowl with dressing. my counterpart chooses salat paris (always a big city) for 12.90 euro – a pretty arrangement consisting mainly of stacked lukewarm goatse apfelrevolvers, surrounded by a colorful salad with kernels and nuts. if everything sounds healthy, it is delicious, hearty, saturating. If a dame really dares to order a cake on the side table, the service looks a bit appalled and staring. that does not seem to be the highlight in this caffe. apropos service: this does not correspond to the maxims announced on the homepage “uncomplicated, competent and fast”. Today he is more unambiguous, humorless and stiff. Maybe it is too much – and that at too high temperatures. in the kitchen, however, you seem to be working quite flink because the dishes are served surprisingly quickly. because the card payment is not accepted in principle, I must scrape my last money. the opening times from 11:30 to 22:00 are still positiw, even though here, as almost everywhere, two rest days per week are naturalized: Monday and Tuesday. Fortunately, we do not conflict with the lunch break and any closing times in the early afternoon. the fact that we already have a tealight on the bright day with a bulky coat on the small table is superfluous. we need the place for handling and for our drinks. Anyway, I am very happy with the rest of the city ambiente and will certainly return to my next visit in lindau. then they sit in front of the door and enjoy the Mediterranean temperatures.

Super fresh and tasty seasoned. So the future generation eats and goes to the restaurant. All that desires the vegan, vegetarian and also all essential heart. The team is super friendly and very fast. Everything was on the spot and very tasty. We spontaneously decided to rely on Google’s assessment, it was totally rewarded. We like to come back and hope for a place.
