It was Sunday, raining and we were staying overnight in this gorgeous town. We came across this place when most places were closed for lunch. Bustling and almost full, we got a table upstairs. We asked for the English menu and were given one, but...it didn't have anywhere near as much on it compared to the German one. I guess they are catering to our perceived different tastes which is silly. I had the sauerbraten with spaetzel which was on the specials board. My husband wanted the roulaten on the English menu but it was sold out. The waitress should have told us that when giving us the menus. Both meals were very generous in size, delicious and cheap compared to the prices we paid for meals in Munich. If you want to try something local and you have a translation app on your phone, look it up and try something different. We wanted to try one if their huge array of cakes for dessert but were too full. They looked amazing, and the amount of people queuing to buy must be a testament to their quality. They kept bringing them out as people were buying. When we came back for some after walking the wall, most were sold out
