My husband (who is from Belgium) and I went to BXL to celebrate his 80th birthday. We ordered the mussels with French fries. All was delicious and perfectly prepared. He finished with a delicious dessert of profiteroles. We have been going to BXL for many many years and have always been pleased.
This bar/cafe located opposite the Stephen Sondheim theatre is quite popular. The food was decent and the service was good. However, once it got crowded around 6pm, it became so noisy that it was difficult to have a conversation. It was too loud for my liking.
What a find! All food and drink was great. Kenneth was fun and great. Make a reservation and get there early.
Loved the atmosphere. Staff very interactive. Very knowledgeable about Belgian beers. We'll be back!
