I just walked in here because a mighty storm had just begun and I was looking for a shelter until I could continue to my intended goal. the place was quite quiet and most customers who were apparently native ate the same court - half a brahn with pommes, so I decided to follow this example. when it arrived, the chicken was crispy and aromatic and although it was served on a dish with traditional cutlery, it reminded me of the "chicken in the basket" that was so popular in the 1960s on the menus of the pubs - and it was ideal to eat with the fingers - as good as no fat and very tasty. Too bad about the pommes fries. while I was there, a group of 8 people came, who ordered a lot of different dishes from the extensive menu, all well looked out when the tellers arrived - nobody ordered the chicken! the well maintained becks was excellent - enjoyed the whole experience and would come back.
this restaurant is literally around the corner of the hotel the tanne in which we stayed, which was one of the reasons for the choice. many seating outdoors on the square, friendly and efficient staff. we had the spa gel menu with a carving that was very delicious. it can recommend if they don't like something so touristy and good eating.
this was an overcrowded, cozy restaurant just outside the city center. we enjoyed a good vegetarian eating at a reasonable price. all the meals that came from the kitchen looked good and rich. the service was efficient and the wine was good.
were in juni with a group here, friendly staff, good selection of food and drinks. cozy place - recommended
