We don 't eat burgers very often but having had a couple of horrendous steaks in recent times we wanted to play safe. The burgers here were seriously good. We were welcomed by Robin a really pleasant member of staff who couldn 't have been more helpful. We ordered nachos to share followed by two cheeseburgers. There was a complimentary salad to start that was OK and we were too full to eat dessert at the end of the meal. Worth a visit!
Booked into hotel across the road and we had our dog with us and needed to eat after driving over from Spain. Walked over to Grill (we have used these restaurants many times) and asked for a table outside as we our large dog with us, staff concerned we would be cold but no problems with this! Meal very good, waitress lovely, brought water over for our dog and a portion of chips for her! Value for money, would return again.
Got to the Grill at about 7.30. Very busy. Staff were good but on the basis that they were so busy, they found it difficult to respond to all tables. We were lucky! Lots of people turned away as they were full. Food was good but had to ask for a sauce three times, received 2 pints of beer and only ordered one (charged for 2! Overall a reasonable meal and would go back. Just felt so sorry for the staff!
Had good meals here yesterday (Sunday) evening. Arrived to fairly empty restaurant about 6.30pm but it was full with families waiting when we left at 8pm. It is a chain specialising in steaks and burgers plus child menus and portions. Service was great and efficient. Happy to recommend
