Slow and kinda rude. I stood at the counter for 5 minutes while the lady was having a conversation with her friend. I asked for a devil crab. She said we don’t have any and turned and started to walk away. So I asked for a sandwich. It took almost 20 minutes for me to get it. And their was only 2 other people in the place.
Brocato’s is one of my favorite go to sandwich shops for fresh made to order Cuban Sandwich, delicious devil crabs also huge stuffed potatoes. If you haven’t tried them your definitely missing out on deliciousness. They provide free drinks chips with every order now that’s a great deal.
This is the thing, this is a Tampa institution. They make THE BEST sandwiches! The majority of patrons do take out! But if you’re looking for somewhere cute to dine in, this is not your spot! This place is more for the food, not the ambiance!
Pricey but, worth it now. They went through a slump due to the pandemic but they are full force back into the swing of things!
