I ordered a cheeseburger with bacon, what I got was a cheeseburger with bacon and hair. I told the waiter(or whatever he was) about it and that I don't want to eat that. He told me that it's not his problem and made sure to let me know that I'll have to pay for it no matter what. When he had this attitude, I lost my appetite. The man was so rude, I couldn't believe it. They were discussing something in French for a while, then came up to me telling me "it's Ok, I won't have to pay for the cheeseburger if I order something else".I ordered mussels, that was ok.All of a sudden it started raining outside and the tent on the outdoor seating was built wrong, so all the water from the rooftop ran all over the tables. The waiter was just standing there like an id*ot, instead of bringing towels and tissues.When I came to this place, I did have a weird feeling when I saw the man/waiter, his style..his attitude. I asked for the password to the WiFi, he went inside, got a wrapped piece of paper with the password on and threw it on our table. So lame. McDonald's could do it better and it's only 3min walk from this place. I've also noticed the way these people reply to the bad reviews, I can't stop laughing. This is ridiculous.
We went twice as we really loved this place. Forgot to ask the waiters name but what a really nice man. Speaks very good english if your french isn't too good. The food was lovely and plentiful. Great atmosphere too with nice music in the background and was nice sitting outside enjoying the sun. A must visit place for lunch with the best ever service. Loved it.
My husband and I have been to Nice several times and always call in to Jazz, whether for a drink after a day of sight-seeing or this time we had a lunch of 4 Fromages and a Salad Nicoise which we shared. Wonderful. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. We will return again and again.
We ordered pizza and a cheese burger. The pizza was not great, just tastless, like the stuff you get out of a box. The chicken burger.... the burger pattie was so hard that it made a sound when you knocked it on the plate. The burger was just unpalatable. Chips were just as bad.
