Brasserie d'en face

The restaurant has a nice terrace in the back...very fast and effective service.Excellent food (not a large menu). Excellent wine.Fast and proper service.Very competitive price.Usually the people go to Arromanches to learn about the Second World War....and this visit really add value to the understanding of what happened in June 1944.When you're there, do not look for elegant and costly restaurant...there aren't.Just go to "Brasserie d'en face" and you'll be happy.

If you are looking for good food and a quick service, then you can choose this brasserie. It also has an inside patio (quickly full, so better to reserve or come early). No wines served, but cider, beer and soft drinks. One minor point though: the waitress is very busy and has a specific behaviour: she does not look you in the eye, listens to your order while already walking way and then comes back with the order. This is not a very warm service.

We had the mussels and french fries which seem to be available everywhere in Normandy. Thee moules & frites with camembert sauce was rich and satisfying. We sat outside in back and enjoyed a young local family with their baby and dog. Friendly people all...More

We visited this brasserie for a family meal and found it to be very suitable with a variety of items on the menu. The children all enjoyed their food and the atmosphere was friendly and helpful.

Great place for lunch, good food and friendly service. Prices are reasonable. I can recommend this restaurant for lunch!
