Thrilled to see this gem re-open under a Michelin star chef who also owns the trendy downtown Dragui restaurant, Cote Rue. The ambiance is wonderfully authentic...take note especially of the gorgeous tiled floors, the woodwork, and the attention to detail that this renovation has lovingly bestowed upon the Bertin. My friend and I both chose the same menu with millefeuille of aubergine as entree, then fish and chips reinvented for our main dish (breaded/coated and pan-prepared versus deep fried) with a delicious homemade tartar sauce as well as ketchup and fries. We followed that up with an impressive cheese plate. You can NEVER go wrong with any of the local rose wines on the menu...pricey but such a perfect accompaniment, and not just in summer.

At short notice we took a recommendation for this restaurant at our hotel reception, and certainly weren't disappointed! Apparently it re-opened on 5th June 2015 under new management, and Michelin-star chef. Food and presentation was excellent and one of our best meals in a week's touring of Provence. Top marks for the food and Vincent our waiter who was particularly patient and obviously well trained in his job. Would definitely return. Sea bass and steak tartare especially notable.

We had the Caesar salad and the tuna fish on mashed potatoes and were not impressed. Service was very friendly but did not make up for the poor food.
