Brasserie Belvedere

We had a lovely day in Thonon, only an hour by bus from Geneva. Read some impressive reviews for this quiet, unassuming brasserie. Lovely setting, not far from the funicular (upper level). The staff could not have been friendlier, with a good level of English. The beef tartar cesar was fantastic (we bravely tried for the first time). The fish melted in your mouth. An excellent cheese board to finish. Highly recommended.

This is a small to medium sized restaurant on a promenade /Lido in Thonon Les Bains which overlooks Lake Geneva. There is a full Menu with an emphasis on red meat. Staff are quietly efficient and courteous. Portions are on the medium to large size. Three courses may be too much but the Cafe Gourmade range is excellent. The exterior is a little strange but the interior is pleasant and welcoming

This restaurant is situated over looking the lake and there is an outside terrace area as well as indoor dining. We visited on a Saturday evening and despite being busy the staff were attentive and wore a warm smile. We ordered from the fixed menu and the food arrived quickly and was presented beautifully. The desert was fabulous... definitely leave space!

This place is wonderful! The service was excellent, the food and wine, delicious! The foie gras was amazing and the chicken succulent. Our waiter was so sweet and so kind despite my insufficient French. We love this place!

Visited this restaurant several times this year for lunch which is incredible value. The presentation, quality, service and taste experience is fantastic. You probably need to reserve a table. A must visit in Thonon
