We always like to have dinner before Munich. Friends of us knew the Bräustüberl in Maisach and wanted to show us. About 30 km from Munich, more precisely on the main road in Maisach you will find this quite large Bavarian restaurant. As the name says, this is a brewery. Very well known is the dark beer (Gummi Kneißl Dark). I myself am not a beer drinker and can't say anything about it. The host is here itself at the stove and fresh ingredients are used and processed as far as possible from the region and almost everything happens. From the ambience it is very rustic and suitable. There are different rooms such as guest rooms, hunting room, sponge, cellar, a hall... When we were there, the Gaststube was not renovated and I found her a little wild boar. In the meantime it was renovated and the pictures look great. The controls are simple and very fast. The waiting time for the food... there was practically no one. It all went so fast, almost too fast. If the salad is already in progress, I also like to eat it before the main dish is served. Our daughter had only one stupid head with sauce ' I must say that such a huge emptying we've never been served before, and also he was super delicious. The oxen hats had laughed at me what I had never eaten. Now I could finally try. Unfortunately, I had imagined something quite different. I thought it was more like the meat in the ox on the meadow. That's why I wouldn't like it. Meat was a bit too hard, tasteful, but really good. Bratkartoffeln should have been a little crispy. Well, again something learned, you always have to see the positive. We were a total of 5 people and the four others were all super satisfied, but here too the roast potatoes were not crispy. I was allowed to try my husband's gooseberry, which was excellent. Even the Röstzwiebeln were a dream. The main dishes are at 9 22 € price, which I felt appropriate. The next visit is planned, because I want to see the new ambience live.
