I'd wanted to come here for a long time as the place sounded quirky and interesting. It didn't quite meet expectations though. Perhaps I chose badly. I saw the seafood chowder and jumped at it because it's one of my favourite dishes in cooler weather. This was a disappointing dish. Nothing like others I've had, he says, instantly recalling three beauties from San Francisco (yup, at Fishermans Wharf), Robe in South Australia and Port Macquarie up north, would you believe. Those were all white, thick and luscious and very flavoursome with abundant seafood. The seafood chowder here though was thin and far less tasty, albeit with some good levels of seafood. It was also rather too small for the $18 price tag. I found it underwhelming and regretted my choice and the lost opportunity. I might give the place another go one day though. Service was fine. The space seemed fine as well.

We walked in and this place us one popular weekend brunch venue we stumbled on. Y mistake. Unlike other popular destinations we were made to feel welcome and not snubbed off and it was really delightful to have a waitresses was so brilliant. She was from Canada and just made the start of our day to be the best. We thanks to her shad a beautiful brunch and enjoyed it thoroughly. The waitress from Canada is what really makes a difference and my wife and our friends all thank her for her brilliant hospitality and great manners and service. Five stars from us and we will be back next to enjoy more great food and exceptional service with friends.

A typical Melbournian hipster cafe. The food there was a tad bit overpriced for my liking, but that was not the fault of the cafe. All Melbourne food and cafes are priced similarly. The restaurant gives off a great relaxed and yet rustic ambience about it, and the food, particularly the chicken and waffle, is a must have.Would definitely go back for the chicken and waffle. Sounds like a weird combination, but the meal was definitely worth it, and the sauce just adds an extra flavour unfound anywhere else.

Went for lunch with four friends, staff where incredibly friendly and we didn't feel at all rushed which can sometimes be the case with busy places. The food was amazing! Would highly recommend this place and the philli cheese steak sandwich
