Bono's Pit -b-q

I only rated it four stars because of the food. Your food is really tasty, especially the fried squash. However I was with a friend who wanted onion rings that you now no longer carry. The portions have gotten smaller, and the prices way higher. But what made it not a pleasant experience is even though our waitress was nice, she spent too much time flirting with a guy at the bar counter. We had to call out numerous times, and one time I actually had to go get her because she wasn't paying attention to us. This kind of service is going to deter us from coming back, at least for the dining experience.

I made an order over the phone tonight. I ordered 2 Pommes 2 10 wings 1 with buffalo sauce the other with sweet tanny and 6 ribs with fried squash. I have no forks napkins without bbq sauces. They put both orders of the Pommes in a box, but should have been in 2 boxes, then I wanted to charge myself a frit because I wanted it in their boxes because it went to 2 different people, then turned around, gave me a box for me to insert it. I spent over $70 to not enjoy it. Ribs was very dry squash was double fried make it very dry chew. Very disappointed.

I travel all over the United States and leave a lot of reviews on barbecue joints. I would rank this one the best in Jacksonville if not in the state of Florida. When you come here enjoy the rich baked beans, the brisket and even the turkey is awesome! Tell owners Shawnda and Lou Hank said hello.

chosen to try her barbeque turkey salad vs my usual pork based elsewhere. it was a good esp using very green romaine lettuce vs iceberg, which is used on other bonos. the salat was plentiful and we had a great waitress who was attentive to our needs. platz was small but cozy. will return.
