Bobby's Bagel Cafe has become a cherished Sunday breakfast tradition for me, and my ultimate favorite is their delightful Nova lox on a Rainbow bagel. The flavors are absolutely delicious, and the Rainbow bagel itself is a feast for the eyes. On a recent visit, my girlfriend decided to try the nova lox open face on a Barbie bagel, which added a playful touch to our experience. Speaking of special occasions, I am thrilled to have chosen Bobby's Bagel Cafe to cater the Bagel and Lox platter for my friend's baby shower brunch. I reached out to them to discuss delivery details and customize the platter to accommodate our vegan and gluten-free guests.
I used to love this place when I lived in Edinburgh a couple of years ago, came back this year and it was not as good. They forgot items in my bagel, when I asked for them to be added they took it back without saying anything and it took ages to come back. I asked for vegan cheese which they put in the bagel post toasting so it wasn’t melted and cold. When I asked for it to be toasted the server was kind of rude and told me vegan cheese doesn’t melt. They also forgot my friends bagel even though we asked twice, and weren’t that apologetic about it being late.
Been to this place 4 or 5 times now when I want something simple and am with a friend. I want to give it 3.5 stars but that doesn't exist so I'm going with 4. I would say sticking to the basics is a good idea, I've heard negative things about some of the menu items but its a bagel cafe and I just usually get a bagel or BEC sandwich and its always been quick and decent.
Have visited here twice, both times didn’t receive correct order and didn’t realize it until home. Will not buy from here again. Note to those who do: check your takeout order before leaving the store. Two out of two recent orders were incorrect. No recommendation.
