If you wonder if this is the place you eat or not.... it should not be a question! The owners of this place brought more into their business than anyone I've ever had! (I don't visit chain restaurants. The food, the service, the drinks, the atmosphere....You will not be disappointed!!!! Go! Go straight to BLUE! Don't look at another place! IT. Go for a special occasion, for date night, because only because...it doesn't matter.... the food will be *top notch*, no matter what the occasion and you will be treated like a license every time! I have absolutely no idea what is written on their menu. Why? Because the specials are where it is! Order everything Charles has on the special for the night, it becomes amazing and definitely a limited element! Oh! And the crab soup of the day...Chowder, corn, tomatoes, whatever it is, IT is DELICIOUS!!!!!! Update: 04/22-STILL hands down THE BEST.
We had an absolutely perfect dining experience tonight. We were greeted at the door by the owner, who welcomed us warmly and showed us to a table. We were waited on immediately (and were pleasantly surprised at the number of staff for such a small place). Our waitress was personable, sweet and attentive. We ordered a fabulous (local) bottle of wine and started off the evening with appetizers fried green tomatoes for him, crab soup for me. They were outstanding. Next were warm, soft, delicious sweet potato biscuits with apricot butter. His meal was a fantastic crab cake with Asiago mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies. I had tasty grilled salmon (also with the potatoes and veggies). We finished off our meal with a slice of incredibly dense, rich amazing key lime pie and wonderful coffee. We will return very soon.
Wow! Great service and delicious food! They started me with a bit of the best chap I ever had. Then the duck came, along with some delicious sweet potatoes, and I was in heaven during the meal. Dessert was strawberry shortcake, perfect in the season. I wanted to avoid eating everything. A great environment, friendly service and delicious meals. What else could you ask?
This place is amazing! The cook visits our table every time we eat here. The food is excellent, the service is perfect, and the selection of liqueurs is top-notch! If you haven't been, you just have to try. I have eaten several times here and tried various ducks and they are all delicious. When you arrive at a week night, there is usually no waiting!
