Blue Heron And Café

This place has a new chef as of May 1st, 2022. Apparently this chef changed the entire menu because he because he disagreed with everything the chef before him did. I orderd the fish platter, corona- beer battered white fish, one piece which was about a 3 x4 piece. It was covered with a dressing that I didn't recognize. The tarter sauce was creme-faiche tarter sauce which doesn't taste like traditional tarter sauce, actual it doesn't have much of a taste at all. It came with a mango-wasabi cole slaw and it was so spicy that my tongue got numb and my nose got very tingly, I thought this was more of a medication than a food. The manager of the Great Outdoor RV Resort is in charge of the restaurant and when we finally get a good chef, they leave for whatever reason. The entire meal was $18. The desert was chocolate lava cake and it normally comes with a couple of scoops of ice cream, this time it was 1/2 scoop. NOPE, won't be back until they get a chef that knows his way around a kitchen.

We just found online ad in the city. Was surprised to find a resort. A guard. Worth the trip. Mu Mann had the fish and chips and I had the chicken marsala. Fantastic cuisine. Your cookies melt in my mouth. Remember me a croissant. My husband had an orange bud.

Great location on a golf course, overlooking a nice lake, maybe more like a very large pond. Food is good, not great, service is good, not great, prices are reasonable. An enjoyable enough experience.

This place is amazing.The food is outstanding all freshly made. The server was great too. DEFINITELY coming back.FYI you must try the wings.

The Mahi and lobster bisque soup were delicious. I will definitely be back at the blue heron.
