Very last minute booking for a late weekday evening, and was accomodated in the resturant by the bar staff who went the extra mile to see we were looked after. Was greeted in the bar by the very friendly locals and had two brilliant steaks cooked exactly how we like it. Will definitely be returning again, great pub with a brilliant atmosphere.
very busy, but it was a party. buffet was nice. quiches were very tasty and the baked was not thick. Sausage rolls were very good and the desserts were as good as they looked! if it was as good as this in a normal night, I would get a visit. beautiful publuc house in a quiet village
I stopped here for lunch. we found the pub charming with a nice warm log fire and friendly local to chat. I ordered steak and ale pie with sweet and chips. the cake was delicious and the baked divine. this was accompanied by a pint of ledbury real ale that was excellent.
beautiful traditional local pub. we stayed for Sunday dinner, which was huge and delicious. I would recommend the lamb especially. the Treacle toffee was also beautiful. we're coming back!
