"I had a Slow Roasted Beef Brisket, with Basil Pesto Mayo and Chipotle Mayo. I also asked for extra Sauteed Cremini Mushrooms. It was delicious! The best sandwich I have eaten in Toronto so far. I am going to come back. It worths every dollar. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. Loved it!"

Whether it's intentional or not, the exhaust fan from Black Camel makes it difficult to pass by without being drawn in to add taste to the tantalizing smells of the delicious meats being prepared in the kitchen. Today I had the BLT which arrived within seconds of me ordering it...pancetta, arugula, tomato and unique pesto sauce on a delicious homemade-tasting bun makes this a very different BLT. Staff is young and friendly and efficient. A variety of brisket, pulled chicken, BBQ beef with loads of topping options mean you could eat here regularly and never have the same thing twice. Even breakfast options are available. A variety of canned and bottled drinks are in the cooler. There isn't a lot of room for seating but I grabbed a corner of the wall counter on a high stool to eat my BLT and had time to read in comfort one section of a newspaper that was on the counter. In good weather there are a few tables outside. You could pick up food here and take it across the street to Ramsden Park for a picnic. Most of the customers while I was there took their orders away. It's been here for a few years now so they must be doing something right.

Have passed this storefront for years but had never gone in. What a revelation for takeout sandwiches. Certainly beats any generic fast food option. Great, imaginative selection in a tiny but efficient spot in Rosedale. Met a friend here on a sunny late winter day. Perfect for soaking up sun on the sidewalk patio. Friendly staff who hustle. Can be busy but well worth any wait. Lots of regulars in the know. Reasonable for the neighbourhood. Very good coffee, too. Kudos to people like this who keep small eateries going.

Heard about this place, and so had to try it. Its a small place tucked just outside the rosedale subway station. Very basic inside, with only a few spots for seating. I had the pulled pork sandwich, which I thought was pretty good! The only thing that I would maybe change about this sandwich is that I thought that the bun was too thick, compared to the amount of meat in the sandwich... but the taste was great! I would return here.

This spot is ideal for a quick lunch. They do sandwiches which are made to order using premium ingredients which naturally attract a premium price. The pulled pork is especially tasty. Place is conveniently located across the street from the Rosedale TTC subway station. Note that if you are late for lunch they likely won't have everything on the menu, so if you want to try it best to arrive late morning.
