Black Bear Bbq - Table reservation

If you're visiting town for a kids soccer game and have hungry teenagers then I'd very highly suggest this place. All 4 of us left happy . Local SB, is great BBQ. I ordered pulled Chicken burger with broccoli cheese side and they accidentally brought itwith green beans as well and those were very crunchy and fresh. We also ordered stew, pulled pork BBQ burgers and main cheese.The whole experience was very good. Definately will be back. Rr was clean.

Ate it all too fast to have any good photos. We tried the family sampler ribs, chicken, pulled pork and sausage. I only had the ribs and pulled pork but it was the best I?ve had since I moved to the south. My hubs had all 4 and loved it. (Side notehe has a sensitive stomach and always gets sick when we go out to eat. He didn?t get sick at all! Great portions, packagedwell for to you. No wait.

Cons: Pulled pork and coleslaw was on par with Cook Out?s. Corn bread was underwhelming: dry, crumbly, and reminded me of high school cafeteria cornbread. Social distancing is still a thing here. Pro: they had interesting soda choices. Finished mypulled pork combo and was still hungry. Conclusion: Not bad, but mediocre at best. As evidenced by the place being almost emptyat 1pm.

I recently visited Asheville for a company retreat. Black Bear crafted a true farm to table custom dinner that was incredible from the first to last bite. Every dish was bursting with flavor. From the salad and bisque to the jerk chicken and cobbler. Sodelicious!!!!

Food was amazing and was brought out very quick. Great service and staff was super friendly. Def recommend this place. Next time im in town ill be back in for a plate.
