"What a hidden gem! We were on our way to another restaurant and decided to take a risk and try something new. So glad we did! The portions are huge! And very savory! Spices weren't over powering, but they tickled the palate. The server was friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back, again and again"

Just visited this little gem last weekend. We are so glad we stopped in to dine. The food was AMAZING with nice portion sizes and reasonable cost for the majority of the meals (under $20). I had the Catfish Pontchartrain and my husband had the Shrimp Po'boy. Let me tell you, that Po'boy was huge!! A full loaf size of bread with a ton of shrimp on it!! The Catfish was excellently cooked, the dirty rice was scrumptious, and the crawfish etouffe on top was the bomb. The food is typical New Orleans style, but not too spicy. They will give you extra heat if you want it. This was a top-notch dinner. It is a small diner, but so worth the dining experience. Just make sure you get there a little early as they close at 7. We didn't know that, but the hosts were so gracious and welcoming. Don't forget to have one of their homemade desserts to round out your dining experience, delicious!!!

I had the gumbo Supreme. It was horrible! No shrimp, fake crab meat , smelled dirty , was just plain gross.. This place came recommend by my friend they had fried catfish,I don't know what happened with mine but I'm so disappointed after being so excited. The picture they have looks nothing like what I was served.I didn't say anything to the cook or waiter didn't want to think I wanted a free meal so I just took it I am going to toss it at home.i would have give 1 star but the hush puppies were good and the place was cute.. the menus were also dirty and out dated with price whiteout..

It’s located at the plaza by 15 mile and dodge park. We love to try food from different regions and this is our first time to have soul or Cajun food. We are amazed by Bistro Orleans!!! The staff is very friendly so you feel like dining from a family restaurant but also get the New Orleans vibe. We ordered shrimp and mussel andouille creole and catfish. Dishes are tasty and kid loves the catfish chips especially.

Mac and cheese was trash. Corn bread was burnt, black and dry. Catfish was good when it was cooked all the way thru. Poboy sandwich was the best I ever had. Bread was soft, shrimp was crisp but not to much breading, sauce was good and the bread did not get soggy... I wont go back until they fixed all of these issues. even if that shrimp poboy was amazing...
