It was had to find somewhere to eat on Monday. This was a good option. The restaurant was warm, on a cold day, service was appreciated, great explanations and translations for the plat du jour and various menus. We chose well with the Beef Marrow and potato salad and Auvergne Sausage with cheese potato. I failed in ordering a carafe of wine and ended up with a more expensive bottle of rose, but it went well with the Fromage selection.
The only place in the city center, where it was possible to eat on Monday. All the other restaurants in the city were closed at noon. We entered, ordered a plat de jour , including dessert, a carafe of wine, dessert and coffee to pay an amount below 50 per two people, which was considering how good everything was dirt cheap.
Delicious home cooking, welcoming staff and small care. This restaurant really deserves a detour. Price of the dish on the midday between 11 and 15 €.
