Whenever I visit my family in the South Gate area, I always make sure to stop by this iconic Birrieria Jalisco to indulge in a delicious dish of chivo birria. You can also enjoy their tasty fresh aguas frescas for a truly refreshing Mexican experience, or opt for a cold beer if you prefer. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone in the area craving authentic Mexican cuisine.
We dined at this restaurant on two separate occasions. Although the portion sizes are smaller compared to the other birria restaurant in town, the goat meat is cooked to perfection here. The ambiance is also slightly upscale. Despite this, the prices remain reasonable. The broth served here is exceptionally delicious.
The Birria de Res didn't disappoint! I remember this place was my childhood Birria spot when it was located on 1st near State in ELA. Wish they had a Birria plate with rice and beans. Either way, this is the best you'll get in Lynwood or near the city.
