"Had an excellent breakfast this morning with one of the best lattes ever. Lovely cafe full of delicious looking cakes and a great menu. Excellent service, good value and just a great place to eat with the added attraction of very tame peacocks wandering around in the car park!"

We rarely go out for a meal as there are 7 of us and money is very tight. I’ve been following Bicester Bean’s Facebook page for a while now and noticed that they did a sandwich special for a good price and the owner had told me that included gluten free, which I need because I have coeliac disease. We’ve had a nice day out today, so decided to end the day with a nice meal. We drove to Bicester Bean and got there at around 2:15pm. We were seated and given a couple of menus, no children’s menus though, even though we had our 3 and 5 year olds with us. I asked for a childrens menu and the waitress had asked us for the second time if we were ready to order. We were only then told by the owner that they weren’t able to make most of the menu items because there was only 2 of them. The cafe is open until 4pm everyday, but they told us really we’d need to get there by 2pm to be able to order what we wanted. They weren’t apologetic at all really, considering we had 5, very hungry and upset children with us. Our 3 year old was crying. We’ve had to drive down the road to McDonald’s, which will cost us a lot more! We will definitely NOT be returning. Absolutely awful! We’ve had terrible luck lately as a family and a meal out that was supposed to be a treat was completely ruined and has spoiled our day now.

I came here to take on their breakfast challenge and I left with what feels like a new family! Not only was their food delicious the staff are the best in the business! The owner, Aly, is without a doubt one of the nicest people I have ever met and went above and beyond with her service! The whole team their was incredible and I honestly couldn’t fault them for anything! I drove an hour and half to try this place and I’m so glad I did because it was the experience of a lifetime and I will definitely be heading back there despite the long journey. It’s amazing to find places like this and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. If you’re looking for great food, service that is top notch and a lovely setting this is definitely the place for you! I look forward to seeing you all again and thank you for everything!

Visited with my partner as were away for my birthday. Staff didn’t smile and was very blunt which came across as rude awkward. Didn’t check if our food was okay, because if they did I’d of told them it was cold. Toast was more like bread tomatoes still hard, hash brows was over cooked it all tasted funny. Won’t be going back, save your money.

First visit and would highly recommended, food, staff, service all excellent. Shared an amazing afternoon tea book in advance) with nice extras and so many cakes and a fresh scone and clotted cream. Bit too difficult to find and well worth a visit. Other food being served looked equally delicious.
