Great interior with phenomenal wood work and detailed in the architecture. Benjamin's is warm and inviting with a well informed staff. The beef was good by NY standards. I'm from Houston so we're a bit spoiled when it comes to fine steakhouses. The bar is pretty high but Benjamin's fared well and much better than a highly rated steakhouse near Times Square. Great bourbon selection if you appreciate the good stuff.
The day we arrived in New York was the only day we didn't make a dinner reservation, with travel and other unknown variables we didn't want to be locked
