Though the location is hardly on many world travelers itinerary if you happen to be in the area looking for restaurant I would highly recommend to try this establishment for 3 reasons. For one you are stepping back into 1970 Germany. The interior reminded me of my late grand parents' living room. It may not be everyone's taste, but it is very unique and authentic. Secondly, you have a most spectacular view over the Elbe river. It is worth your while just sitting there and enjoying the view even if it is just for a coffee or tea. And last not least, the food is excellent with old school German style service. All in all a great experience!

Satisfied guests, Very pleasant, extremely friendly and attentive service. The food was very good, sufficient and freshly prepared. You sit well. We had a place on the window with wonderful panoramic views. We are very happy to come back and look forward to outdoors under the trees. Carol Kähler
