Sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service, angenehm klimatisierter Speisesaal im ersten Stock, grosse Auswahl an qualitativ hochstehendem Rindfleisch aus Europa und Übersee, schöne Weinkarte. Leider war das Filet-Stück zu stark erhitzt worden, was unangenehme Bitterstoffe zur Folge hatte. Das beanstandete Fleisch wurde jedoch anstandslos und mit einer höflichen Entschuldigung durch ein anderes, einwandfreies Stück ersetzt. Der kompetente Service und die erstklassigen Fleischprodukte relativieren den im oberen Segment anzusiedelnden Preis.
Although nothing is marked in the menu, the service staff and the chefs know everything about gluten-free dishes. I had the Sous-vide flank steak with white wine Risotto and grilled Jalapeños and it was excellent. Since the chefs make all sauces themselves, they know their products. The meat is seasoned with salt and pepper and you can choose heavy side-dishes, e.g. carrots, Cole Slav salad, potato wedges.
It was my birthday yesterday (March 16th) and my son invited me to this extraordinary restaurant. I'm thrilled and will come back!
Very good quality meats, but the bill per person is still quite high.
