Firstly I have eaten at the Bayleaf restaurant several times and the food is usually good. On this Occasion, I ordered on a Friday evening at 17:03 though the Bayleaf's website for a food order to be delivered at 18:40 and got an email confirmation with the order and delivery time Address. By 19:10, it was still not delivered, so I called the restaurant and explained the situation, The person from the restaurant was a bit rude and not showing care for my problem, I was told my order had left the restaurant and was on its way (Note: the distance between the restaurant and my delivery location is only about 10 minute drive) Finally between 19:45 19:50 (so over an hour late) the driver arrived with my order, when I started to question why the restaurant had lied to me and why it had taken over an hour, the driver threatened to call the police. Then the driver called the restaurant and I spoke to someone, he did not listen to the problem, that I had a confirmed order time and it was over an hour late, then he denied that I had been told on my first telephone call that the order had left more than 30 minutes ago. Based on the ticket I got with my food, there is a problem with there system not logging the correct delivery time (I have heard from our customers I know, which have had the same problem) The biggest issue is the attitude of the person on the phone and the delivery driver trying to cover and lie about what actually happened. P.S; I am Waiting for feedback from the restaurant.
