Although we have been in Zug for four years we had not visited and we chose to go on a Wednesday evening. Situated outside of the city of Zug on the way to Ägeri Bauernhof is a good restaurant to enjoy dinner with friends and family. The place is spacious and the ambiance creates a happy feeling. The wooden ceiling is high and the white linen tableclothes with the white curtains make it brighter. There are many green plants, which serve also as separators between tables and offer some privacy. The service is friendly, fast and discreet. I started with a delicious ginger soup, which I higly recommend and my husband chose a vegetable bouillon with tiger shrimps. Both were very tasty and for my husband it was the first time he had soup with slices of cucumber. I will try it next time at home). For main course I chose Suure Mocke, a tender piece of beef cooked in red wine with braised apples and home made spätzle and my husband fleischvogel beef roullade) with steamed vegetables asparagus, broccoli etc). They were very good. I drank a good Swiss Pinot Grigio and my husband a Swiss Pinot Noir. The price was reasonable for Switzerland, as we have paid more for culinary experiences in the city of Zug but we will never recommend.
