After looking at photos of three storeyed burgers with oozing contents and cheese I wondered if I was up to the challenge of indulging at Bare Grill. Well, happy to the report I actually had the best burger of my life by a long shot at this very popular spot. Luckily got the last table next to the four raclette burners which I found myself glued to watching the sizzling and melting of the cheese. Chose "The Bare" burger $12 which consists of a large beef patty, double American cheese, caramelised onions, lettuce and Bare sauce. Not being one to let an opportunity go by I had to try the raclette hot melting oozing cheese for an added $6, but worth every cent! A true game changer! Love the theatrical way the staff entourage make their way to the raclette recipient's table to scrape the cheese onto the burger. My partner had the Aussie Outback $16 which usually comes with one beef patty but he upgraded to two. Being Aussie of course there is a fried egg and beetroot relish plus bacon, caramelised onion, lettuce, American cheese and Bare sauce. Wow....another knockout! Both burgers were full of flavour, tasty, juicy and made with skill! Didn't try the fries, even though they looked amazing, but did have the coleslaw which was light and tangy and a perfect accompaniment to the burgers. Put my oozing melting raclette video on fb for all family and friends to see which has lead to major food envy and everyone wants to get in on the action. No problems at all....I am totally obsessed with this place and can't wait to return to try more of this delicious menu!
