Baraset Barn - Table reservation

I myself, my new man and family came after our high time on we had originally planned that only parents would be taking part, but last minute decided that several of our siblings and their partners would come. we have made a last minute...booking for which the staff worked hard to take place. (of course, a preorder was necessary.) the service and the eating was error-free, everyone enjoyed their meal and our glasses were never empty for more than a few moments a big question of such a last minute booking for a big table. we were in one of the above rooms that was beautiful and comfortable. the next day when we wanted to explore stratford, they kindly agreed to allow us to leave our hats and my bouquet with them. I could not recommend this restaurant and the adjacent hotel! everything was wonderful, but it is the personal that really creates. Many thanks to you all, I can only apologize for my father and his partner who did their steaks well. (They still enjoyed them very much, although my partner had a coffee on the morning he said was excellent, so thank you that they also cure his light coffee. I'll see you again!

Average. I went to the baraset barn a couple of weeks ago with my fiancee. The setting is beautiful and when you arrive your greeted by a menber of staff who sits you down before giving you a menu and taking your drinks order. Your food order is taken and your allowed to enjoy your drink before your led to your table,i found this a nice touch because it then makes it seem like you haven't waited that long for your food. The waitress was attentive but not intrusive. We had a starter of chilli prawns and garlic dip which considering it's ingredients was surprisingly bland. Our main course was lamb for myself and a chicken dish for my fiancee. The lamb was well cooked but the overall dish forgettable and the chicken was dry and over cooked. For desert we had ice cream and chocolate brownie. What came out was a glass of ice cream with chunks of chocolate brownie,something I'd probably serve my year old daughter. The service was fantastic but sadly the food doesn't match it I've enjoyed better meals at the Harvester. Go if you've got a spare hundred quid that you don't mind wasting on average food.

Baroset Barn. What a wonderful place! The ambience is excellent, as is the food. The service is second to none we have experienced before. I have had excellent meals at other places, which have been spoilt by sub standard service. Not so at the Baroset, the service provided by the whole team we were served by different people was outstanding. I can be critical when things are not right, but I truly could not find any fault with the service we had today. Congrats also to the chef for providing superb food (all three courses were delicious). We will definitely be returning. Many thanks.

We know this place and I even had my ushers' lunch here years ago but we're not regulars. The food was outstanding. I had the scallops, my son the squid to start both exemplary. Mains included duck confit, fish and chips and all...were good. The dresserts were deliciously decadent. Come here!

Stayed with three girlfriends. Hostess utterly wonderful and bubbly, nothing was too much trouble. Good amazing. An edge on the pricey side but the quality reflects the price. Will definitely revisit in the summer.
