My sister reviewed this place last summer (Teresa R for Shropshire). I live in the village and like her I have wondered why this place is surrounded by restaurants which are busy and this place is not. It appeared to be the underdo, the newcomer and had not established itself. So my sister and girlfriend visited and both enjoyed their meal. I never got round to visiting. Today I had worked from early morning and thought I would treat myself to what appeared to be an interesting menu. My local restaurant's reliable and inexpensive menu is fine but I thought I would have a change. I should not have bothered. The woman who used to stand outside studying the menu constantly who my sister thought should try to engage people, was today the entire staff, waitress, chef and cashier. She was having to run to the balcony to check to see if people were sitting at the tables on the pavement. the food was awful. A greasy paella with a microcosm of pork and a dried up mussel. I stupidly ate this so I have yet to see if I will pay the price. Than suckling pig. Or rather a fraction of one with few grammes of greasy edible meat. Oh, I wish I had been back at my normal restaurant, and this was supposed to be a treat. Awful, and worse, it turned out to be almost twice the price of what I normally pay. I feel sorry for the lady here. To ask her to be chef and waitress was absurd. The management need to have a think about what they are doing here.

Situated on a beautiful hilltop village square alongside a few other cafes we chose this one because it had the most shaded seating. In the end we didn't eat, however the service was excellent. Drinks pretty standard. A top place to stop on a bike ride.

The Pizza was OK. Not like in Italy but OK. Salat was fresh and so very delicious. The original Malircean dish was also delicious. Best was the homemade Apple pie. They also have decades coffee. Next time I'll be in again.

The waiter was quite confused. The quality of the food could have been better. The gambas in garlic was small as shrimp and the portions were in general rather small. Not worth the money.
