Baja Cantina Marina del Rey

Baja Cantina has unique entrees, which makes it a step above your runofthemill Mexican restaurants. They have a selection of Gourmet Enchiladas for example, in addition to traditional style. I sampled the Tropical Mango Chicken Enchiladas, which were excellent. Lots of grilled white meat chicken and mango, without too much sauce that would cover up the flavor. It came with coconut rice which tasted so much better with this dish than the traditional style rice would have been. I was not impressed with the watermelon margarita, however it was on the sour side. I will still return again to sample another dish and give a different margarita flavor a try

I really didn’t care for the place or the food. We were seated in a small outside area when there were countless empty tables inside. My drink didn’t seem to have any alcohol. My food was flavorless seemed to come straight from the can. They charged a five dollar valet fee when they parked my car a few feet from the door. Our waiter was nice that’s the only positive. I won’t be back

Just had a light meal and drinks with a friend and the place was perfect. Laid back, good service, nice ambiance

Baja Cantina is my new go to for Mexican food when in Santa Monica, will always make it a point to eat there..
