Azzurri Pizzeria

Azzuurri Pizzeria does it right every time. I cannot express how incredible the pizza is that comes for this small family run restaurant. The care and attention to detail shows in every bite. Having been to Italy, finding a comparable pizza joint was difficult - Una, WOP, etc. were standard popular haunts that are frequented by many, but just could not cut what I was looking for. If you are looking for the absolute best pizza in Calgary, look no further than this hidden gem - the pizza might even be better that the slice I received in Italy. You will not be disappointed!

4 of us were told to try this place out. We showed up on a Friday night and luckily got a table. You should probably call to get a reservation to make sure you get a table. The place is very small but to be honest, I thought the place was great. We ordered a meatball appetizer that was insanely good. We each ordered a different pizza to try and share. They brought out each pizza one at a time which was great. Service was awesome and pizza was terrific!

We've been here many times and been to many pizzerias but this is by far the best. The crust/dough is so flavourful and chewy soft. The cottofungi and testorosa are our favs. The caeser salad and mozza balls are an excellent appetizer too. Try it out, you won't be disappointed!

My wife and I have been going here for a year. The pizza is the some of the best I have ever had in all my travels worldwide. Then they added paninis made with fresh forno baked panini buns. These are the best I have ever had. Ultimate date lunch.

Small, quaint, restaurant that serves the best wood fired pizza in town and the make you will feel like one of the family in no time !!
