A&W - Table reservation

I don't eat chain restaurant fast food very often but A&W's rarely disappoint me. I had not been back to the Wetaskiwin location since they renovated but I went through the drive-through on a Friday evening. Even though it was 6:00 pm there were only two other cars in the line up in front of me and it was moving very quickly, I had to wait less than 5 minutes for the two in front of me and to get my food. The young kid at the window was very professional and my Teen Combo was under $10. The food was fresh and hot but I thought the fries were a little mushy inside. I had the classic Teenburger and it was great, very fresh and crispy lettuce. I could tell it had not been sitting around. I still love A&W and it will probably always be my favourite fast food.

We had an order to go for 6 people, we went inside the restaurant to order. I had it all listed out on a piece of paper. One person took the order, then another packed it...as she was packing it she said "we just need ___ then this gong show order will be done" and we were standing right there at the counter! Her jacket she had just taken off was laying across the front counter as well...unsanitary! Surprisingly, our order was correct once we unpacked it at home, but the fries and onion rings definitely were not hot when packed up for us! Burgers seemed slapped together and messy.

Service and staff is fast and efficient. Food is hot and looks nice. New renovations make the restaurant nice and bright, clean and well laid out.

A & W teen burger, onion rings and a very frosty mug of original root beer, can you get any better then that when craving A&W food

Love their Food! The gravy is awesome! love the teen burgers, and buddy burgers! Their sweet potato fries are the best!!
