I celebrated my 33rd birthday at Averill this past weekend (7/9/23). The grounds were beautiful. We sat under a beautiful awning with comfortable love seat chairs, and a nice table and two beautiful chandeliers hanging over head. The wine flights were $15 for 4 small glasses. Plenty of options to choose from. The wine slushies were SO DELICIOUS as was the chacueterie board!! The service was fantastic! Jane, I believe her name was, was attentive and she gave us a tour of the vine field, the original 6 vines that started Averill, the story behind the family, a look at the wine cellar and production room. It was all very wonderful! My girlfriends and I had a great time!!! The tour was $10 each!
What a wonderful experience! We did the Bottle your own. Jen was our tour guide and she knew so many details and answered all of our questions she was amazing ! Father and Son helped us do the bottle your own wine. They were so very patient and kind and very fun. I was unfortunately on crutches due to an injury, and they were very accommodating! What a wonderful experience.
Wonderful experience! This is small family owned winery. It is worth the trip! We enjoyed our tasting and conversation with friendly staff. Of course we left with several bottles of wine and some unique gifts too. Had a lovely day on Mother?s Day, brunch, and wine tasting. Also, loved the flutist!
We've done a wine tasting, vineyard tour and also a fun felting event at Averill House Vineyard. Everyone there is super friendly, and the felting event was so much fun. Not to mention their wines are delicious and reasonably priced. Its so nice to support a local small business!
